YouTube’s been fooling people around this year

Happy April Fool’s Day Folks and a Very Happy Birthday to Stringed Words! (Well, that wasn’t a joke though.) 😀

Are you sad and shocked believing that YouTube is gonna shut down and will be back online after  just a teeny-tiny-small decade? Watch this video.

Oh, wait did you just got goofed by YouTube? Yes, YouTube is playing big this year with its April Fool Joke Online which surely is going to be quite entertaining. 😛

Earlier on Sunday morning, the day before April Fool’s, the video giant website YouTube released a video titled, “YouTube’s ready to select a winner.” In which YouTube employees uncannily explain that YouTube, after 8 long years, now has enough videos (150,000 actually) to select a winner who uploaded the best video on YouTube and prior to that no one will be able to upload any more videos on YouTube after Sunday midnight. Plus, they add that YouTube is gonna go down now and after a decade (i.e., in 2023) they would be declaring the winner. (Surely it takes time to select the best video from a 150,000 videos window.) 😛

The dialogue by Antoine Dodson, a judge in the contest and YouTube celebrity really gave the willies, “We are all story tellers, that’s what pulled me into this contest… I encourage everybody to watch as many videos as possible before YouTube deletes everything tonight.”

Well, I laughed to that. 😀

^Happy April Fool’s Day and Don’t forget to wish Stringed Words it’s first birthday. 😉

^Thank you, until next time. Chaos! 😀
